HCCC Award of Distinction 2008
At its 10th Annual Roundtable Meeting held March 6, 2008, the HCCC was proud to present the inaugural Award of Distinction to Dr. Alan Bernstein, Executive Director of the Global HIV Vaccine Enterprise and former President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Dr. Bernstein’s contributions to health research in Canada and his ability to foster excellent relationships with health charities were only two of many traits that made him a great choice for HCCC’s first Award of Distinction.
